A salary is given to each member of congress. $158,000 per year is for all senators rip’s.
$193,000 per year is for the speaker of the house and the senate’s president earns $172,000 per year. Each member also
has a non-salary compensation, which includes a tax deduction general travel allowances, low life and healthy insurance and
the franking privilege (free mailing).
